I just happened across these beautiful cakes by Magpie Cakes and was mesmerized by their delicate beauty and uniqueness! Maggie – Artist and Chef based in DC has a background in dance, which seems to somehow influence her amazing creations! Look her up if you are on the East Coast and need a cake. She may even travel to the West Coast for special events!

We had an amazing time shooting their wedding and are so happy for them as they embark on married life together! Such a fun couple!!!

May 20, 2010I had such a great time photographing Jeff and Amy’s wedding! They were completely easy going, relaxed, and there to have a good time! Not to mention, they are totally head over heals in love and it was so cute to witness their happiness together!!! One-Room School House
May 9, 2010Yesterday, I had the privilege of photographing this authentically restored one-room school house. In September, I will be photographing a wedding here, and yesterday I was invited to the ranch to photograph the couple’s Engagement Session and familiarize myself with this historical building. I couldn’t help grabbing a few shots of the interior details (which will be mostly cleared out for the wedding). My dad grew up in South Dakota and attended a one-room school house during grade school, so it was fun to see this place and think of him in a similar room as a child.
