March 31, 2008The series of images below…
March 28, 2008As a newborn photographer, it has been a true joy to have my good friends Merissa Pratt and Michelle Lauren photograph my babies and for me to see how they work and what images attract their photographic eye. I am impressed and absolutely love the images that they have taken of my children on their own and together with me.
I love this image!

March 11, 2008Willa Kveta Photography and life in Santa Barbara, CA
March 11, 2008Ten years ago, I would have never guessed that I would be here now, living the life that I live! I have always been a photographer, always known I wanted to be a mother and a wife, and always loved living near the ocean and under the sun, but I would have never imagined I would be here, fulfilling all of these dreams at once and so happy! Life in Santa Barbara began for my husband and I five years ago and little by little we are feeling more and more at home! My passion for photography is what brought us here and the immense beauty of this place is what has kept us here! In the summer (and any other part of the year that is nice enough), the beach is our second home and surfing our favorite pastime! Life is great!…and just for fun…here is a list of a few things that has made this past year super special and unforgettable! #1: My surprise pregnancy and the birth of our gorgeous twin daughters Naleah Corin and Kyla Oriana (nothing can top that!… except actually being their mom, which is the most amazing thing ever!!!!). Other highlights: Having my photography published in a few local Santa Barbara magazines: Coastal Woman Magazine and Food and Home Magazine! Moving to our new place that actually feels like a real home and having enough space for everything and everyone! Expanding my business, Willa Kveta Photography in Santa Barbara (http://www.willakveta.com) and really becoming a part of the Santa Barbara community. Creating new and lasting friendships at WEV (Womens Economic Venture) and graduating from the WEV program! Finding the balance between work and play and enjoying life to the fullest! Expanding my knowledge in the kitchen and becoming quite the Peruvian cuisine expert…something my husband loves (as he is Peruvian and can’t help but love his own food). And many oter little moments spread throughout each day…too many to mention, but so good, as to not forget them! I am blessed! Thank you for all of this!
