So excited and honored to announce that I was chosen to be a W.E.V. Success Story! Women’s Economic Ventures in Santa Barbara is an amazing non profit organization that helps women (and men) start or grow their own businesses. I took their business course a few years back and it really helped be understand my business, write a business plan, get focused, and understand the power of marketing. As a Photographer, I love letting my inspiration lead me in new directions. Currently, I am exploring a fascinating world at f/1.4. These are a few I snapped of my girls today before their preschool costume parade at Starr King Parent Child Workshop.

Ok, so when I edit all of my wedding images, I have two computer screens – one with the images and one with Hulu on a favorite show, or something that keeps me interested. It’s more about background noise than anything else since I can’t really watch it. Anyway, I started hearing this song all the time during the commercial breaks and it became really catchy I even thought to myself, this would be a perfect wedding song – for one of my slideshows. Anyway, when I finally looked up to see what the commercial was, I realized I’ve been humming along to a cat food commercial! Funny! But, it IS about a wedding after all, so I wasn’t completely off track Anyway, I actually really like it, so here it is:
